Time: 15 mins prep, 1 hour chill time; 1 hour & 15 minutes total

When to eat it: Anytime, any day

Perks: Gluten-free, paleo, vegan, budget-friendly, no-bake

Makes: about 12 truffles

Sh*t You Need:

1 medium avocado
¾ cup dark chocolate chips of choice
2 tbsp. cocoa powder

The Recipe:

1. Cut open an avocado and mash with a fork until smooth and lump-free.

2. Roughly chop ¼ cup chocolate chips. (This will give the truffles a nice crunchy texture.)

3. Place ½ cup chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Melt chips in the microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring in between to avoid burning. Repeat until chocolate is thoroughly melted.

4. Mix mashed avocado and melted chocolate together thoroughly, and then mix in chopped chocolate chips.

5. Chill mixture in refrigerator for an hour.

6. After mixture is chilled, scoop out 1 tablespoon of mixture and form about 1-inch balls with your hands.

7. Sprinkle cocoa powder on a separate plate and roll truffles in powder to get that truffle look. Repeat until mixture is gone.
